Charter vs District
Choosing the right school for your child is a crucial decision. As a tuition free public charter school accredited by Cognia in Tucson, we are designed to meet each student's academic and social emotional needs.
We offer small class sizes, a safe and flexible learning environment, and a strong focus on college preparation. Unlike many large district schools, at Tucson International Academy teachers know each student by name and work closely with families to support their progress.
We proudly serve diverse Tucson communities and strive to make attending college a realistic goal for every student.
Partnership Opportunity
Tucson International Academy partners with local engineering and technology programs to give high school students in Tucson early access to real world STEM learning. Students take hands on engineering courses, connect with college level resources, and start building a clear pathway from TIA to university engineering degrees and high paying careers.

Our Core Values
We embrace our students' cultures and work within them. Understanding the aspects of the different backgrounds of our students allows us to help them and their families have the tools to excel and achieve their dreams.
We recognize that no student is the same. We always uplift and encourage each of our students to have the confidence to pursue their dreams.
We want every student to have the tools to achieve all of their goals. We ensure that our entire community knows we care and support them.
Our job is to teach our students how to think and not what to think. We believe in education, not indoctrination. We want our students to gain the ability to advocate for themselves.
